I just discovered a roadable that I'd never seen before--the Trautman RoadAir.
Herb Trautman spent all of the 1950s designing and building his dream flying car, but--on it's first test flight--when it started feeling unstable at 3 feet off the road, he chickened out, drove it home and never used it again. A few years ago, Trautman donated it to Kermit Weeks' Fantasy of Flight Museum in Florida, where they've restored it and made it roadworthy--if not flightworthy--again.
The photos are a little difficult to read, since they're either old and grainy or new and with the RoadAir crowded into a hanger, but they're all pretty amazing. Check it out:
